cultural photographer, author, tour guide
I have traveled the world but found myself returning to Mexico more and more. I moved to Puerto Vallarta in 2008 and never looked back. Whenever I travel I always have my camera, and now my cell phone, with me as I explore, looking for opportunities to capture the essence of the culture, especially its people. From the first day I landed in Vallarta, I began taking photos to capture the rich colors, images, and feelings I encountered.
In 2009, I began offering walking tours which included history, architecture, culture, artisanal crafts and ecology in and around Vallarta to share my excitement and love of this culture with tourists who come to learn. This experience has introduced me to local artisans, vendors, business owners, and long-standing residents, many with fascinating stories to tell. I have started this blog now to share some of these stories with you.
I have also found other outlets for my photography including articles and guidebooks, photo cards, and fine art on canvas. Head over to my photography site for more photos and information on buying:
